Participants attending an online HLA conference session

Tue, Nov. 10

Tuesday will consist of solely online sessions, our annual HLA Business Meeting, and presentations from this year's sponsors.

The keynote presentations will focus on budget and fundraising strategies in local information ecosystems, and ethical and environmental honesty around artificial intelligence, to set the stage for presentations speaking out on issues affecting GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives, and museum) professionals today.

Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo

Thu-Sat, Nov. 12-14

Thursday-Saturday will consist of several in-person activity-focused sessions and activities, including the 2026 HLA Poster Session, our concluding keynote address, and remarks from HLA's President and Vice-President/President-Elect.

By featuring dynamic speakers and interactive workshops, we hope to spark ideas and reflective actions to navigate our field with a renewed sense of purpose.

A Note About Recordings
